Danube Cup Conference – an international scientific forum for entrepreneurship research
The Danube Cup Conference is a prestigious international scientific event organised with the professional cooperation and partnership of Youth Enterprise Support Society, offering an inspiring meeting opportunity for educators, researchers, and professionals working in the fields of entrepreneurship research, entrepreneurial education, and startup innovation. The conference aims to promote academic dialogue between universities in the Danube region (and beyond) and to provide a platform for presenting research on entrepreneurship, methodological innovations, practical examples, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
The event has an important role in the academic discourse on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), focusing on the challenges, innovation opportunities, and development directions facing the SME sector. It also encourages the involvement of young researchers and PhD students, not only as speakers but also as active members of the professional community. The conference is free to attend and is available both in person and online, thus allowing a broad international audience to participate. Abstracts related to the presentations are published yearly in a volume with an ISBN.
The most recent conference, held in 2025, attracted 120 participants from 20 countries. The summary can be read here. The next conference will be held in Bratislava in 2027.
